Can I save my data to a backup copy ?
Yes, you should click in the menubar and choose the backup function. You can also restore backups you've previously made.
Why does the progress percentage not update alone ?
In to get the automatic progression function, you need to put the mode of the project to automatic and not manual. The progess is made form the end date defined for your project.
